Module II - Team

Content

The second module is a practical, hands-on 3-day workshop that gives participants the skills and knowledge to become more effective team leaders, in 1 to 1 and 1 to many settings.
In this module, participants will be able to:

  • State the roles of a team leader
  • Identify team member’s readiness for a given task and adjust appropriate leading approaches with the tool of Situational Leadership
  • Start practicing a variety of leadership skills, including delegating, coaching and motivating
  • Discuss the dynamics of his/her team, its culture, development stages and current performance status
Method
  • Situational Leadership Model
  • Group discussions and role plays
  • Video Vignettes
  • Facilitator input (lectures, demos, debriefing, etc.)
  • Life case studies and coaching by peers as well as by facilitator
  • Reciprocal feedback

Fundamentally, we do not see the trainer as a 'teacher' with superior knowledge, but instead as someone who facilitates and supports. Their primary expertise is in shaping learning processes.

Target Group/Basic Requirements
  • Participants of Module I

Participants will best profit if they have a team to lead and are willing to learn about how to lead, develop and coach their people.

Dates
  • August (3 days, Specific dates are TBD)
