CreativeLive is recognised as one of the world’s leading providers in the field of creative learning. Its online programmes feature individuals who are not just experts in their field, but also excellent teachers – these include bestselling author, Tim Ferriss, award-winning business woman and author, Arianna Huffington, and LinkedIn co-founder, Reid Hoffman.

Creativity as a future-orientated key competence

The CreativeLive learning offer not only empowers Bertelsmann employees in the development of needed competencies for their job now and in the future, but also supports the continuous transformation and development of their company.

The decision to provide employees with CreativeLive’s high-quality content is in accordance with the new Bertelsmann essentials of Creativity & Entrepreneurship. For Bertelsmann, Creativity is a core value and key for providing products and services that excite customers around the globe. Thus, creativity is a competence critical for success, which is needed for the future-orientated transformation of the company.

As Steven Moran, Chief Learning Officer at Bertelsmann explains: “For Bertelsmann, lifelong learning is an essential driver in implementing our strategy. We are a trailblazer when it comes to re-thinking the way re-skilling needs to happen in mission-critical technologies. Given the essential role that creativity and entrepreneurship play at Bertelsmann, ensuring that employees have the best learning content available to them in these areas – anytime, anywhere and in a scaleable form – is without doubt the next challenge. CreativeLive is an exceptional resource for this, enabling our employees to not only upgrade their skills on an individual level, but also to help build the type of transformative and innovative cultures we need as an organisation in general.”

CreativeLive offers a wide range of topics. In addition to courses dealing with leadership, marketing & sales/distribution, tech skills, as well as entrepreneurship, there are also courses that cover topics such as productivity and time-management. Furthermore, there are specific courses on soft-skills, such as art & design or music & audio. In this way, every employee can benefit from the collaboration, worldwide.
