Following its successful launch in January, the Group-wide “Your Campus” social learning initiative enters the next round. Employees from all over the world have an opportunity to sign up for and attend practice-oriented and inspiring sessions – designed by colleagues for colleagues – from May 20 through June 6.
Your Campus Program
The new round offers a total of 25 sessions – with diverse topics, new perspectives, and concrete benefits for everyday work. As in the first edition, the second round of “Your Campus” is based on the tried-and-tested principle of peer learning: colleagues from the Group share their experience, knowledge, and tools – in an open and practice-oriented way and at eye level.
A broad range of inspiring sessions
We're kicking off the second round on May 20 with a theme week all about “working smarter, not harder.” The focus will be on how we can achieve more impact with small changes in everyday life – for example through smart prioritization, better structures, or conscious breaks.
Here's a look at the program:
- “Hush Hour”– Working together in silence
Everyone for themselves, but all together: This unusual format creates a digital space for focused work – without distraction, but with collective commitment. Ideal for all who want to create conscious focus time. - Why cloud is like solar
A session for all who want to learn about cloud technology from a new perspective: practice-oriented, understandable – and with a clear look at the ecological benefits of modern IT infrastructure. - Innovative retrospectives: Methods and tools for effective teamwork
No more “mandatory” retrospectives: This session will focus on creative formats, new questions, and tools that teams can use to draw real learnings from retrospectives – for greater clarity, collaboration, and effectiveness.
“Your Campus” offers a broad spectrum beyond these sessions: from input to successful moderation and thought-provoking impulses from product development to compact “tech snacks” during the lunch break. You can view the sessions under the attached link.
Quick registration pays off
The program is open to everyone and completely free of charge. You can sign up for all the sessions you are interested in with just a few clicks – directly via the “Your Campus” website in the interactive timetable, or directly via the Bertelsmann Collaboration Platform. Please note, however, that registration for the interactive workshops is on a first come, first served basis – therefore, quick registration pays off.

Work Smarter: The next Your Campus Big Edition is here!
A few weeks ago, more than 600 colleagues joined the first Your Campus 2025. For three intensive days, everything revolved around “Digital & Tech” – from “The Power in you! - Cross-divisional collaboration” to an intro workshop on generative AI. Many participants started incorporating new ideas into their everyday work during the sessions and are staying in touch to keep learning from each other.
Starting now, we're once again looking for colleagues to join our next Your Campus Big Edition and help bring 'Work Smarter' to life!
It's time for the next round:
From May 20 to June 6, everything will revolve around 'Work Smarter'. This time, the participants themselves chose the theme. The focus is on automation, everyday hacks, and ideas for 'smarter' collaboration. In other words, everything that helps you work smarter instead of harder.
Sophia Ohlendorf, who works in Bertelsmann’s Corporate Culture Team, is also looking forward to the next edition: “We want to make ‘Your Campus’ even more international and diverse. The best way to achieve this is when as many colleagues as possible share their knowledge – regardless of whether they’ve been trainers before or are leading a session for the first time.”
Do you want to share your expertise and show how to make your workday easier?
Then become a trainer and sign up for your session by March 31. Whether you want to run a Power BI course, share tips for more productive meetings, or introduce hacks for a compelling presentation – we welcome all ideas!
And if “Work Smarter” isn’t quite your cup of tea? No problem! In the second and third weeks of the event, there’s room for any topic that could help you and others progress. You can also propose sessions that go beyond the main theme.
How you can participate:
- Register as a trainer via the link below by March 31.
- Know colleagues who have valuable insights? Encourage them to join!
- Want to attend only? Keep an eye out for the final program, which should be available in early April, so you can register for the best sessions.
Whether you host a session or simply drop by, ‘Your Campus’ works best when we share and apply our knowledge together — true to the motto ‘Work Smarter.’ We look forward to seeing you!
