Building on Bertelsmann’s strategic focus on skill management, this program provides leaders with a personalized, AI-supported learning experience focused on critical AI skills. What you will learn
Artificial intelligence is changing how work gets done across every industry. New AI tools, copilots and agents are transforming how teams make decisions, solve problems, create content and collaborate. For leaders, the challenge is no longer whether AI will impact their area of responsibility, but how to capture its value while helping people adapt and succeed.
Leading Teams in Times of AI (LTAI) equips managers with the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead in this new environment.
- A particular focus is placed on turning AI potential into results. Participants learn how to discover valuable AI opportunities early on, redesign workflows for effective human-AI collaboration and embed new ways of working across their teams. They explore how roles, responsibilities and processes can evolve sustainably when people and AI work together and how to guide their teams through this transition.
- Participants learn how to apply AI effectively and responsibly and understand where its opportunities and limitations lie. They develop the ability to critically evaluate AI generated outputs, identify high value use cases and make informed decisions about where AI can create real impact to improve business outcomes.
- Besides, participants work on skills needed to drive transformation and enable change. They strengthen their ability to influence stakeholders, communicate a compelling vision, build trust and confidence around AI and help shape an environment where their teams embrace new ways of working.
What you can expect
Program Components and Personalization
Every participant starts with their AI Agent for Skills-Based Learning. Through a short, guided dialogue, the agent helps participants reflect on their current capabilities, interests and development priorities in relation to an AI skills framework for leadership roles. The AI Agent summarizes the results of the dialogue and provides personalized guidance on the skills and learning areas that may be most relevant to their role and day to day leadership challenges.
These insights help participants navigate the curated learning experience on Coursera and focus on content that supports their individual goals.
Nadia: Your Personal AI Leadership Coach
Learning is most effective when it can be applied immediately. That's why every participant receives access to Nadia, an AI-powered leadership coach that is available whenever support is needed.
Nadia helps leaders translate insights from the program into action. Participants can use her to prepare for difficult conversations, think through leadership challenges, plan change initiatives, reflect on team dynamics or explore practical to support AI adoption. Support is available whenever real situations arise.
Nadia provides a safe space to practice and strengthen the transformation skills that become even more important as AI is embedded into business and operating models. Leaders can refine their communication approach, prepare stakeholder conversations, work through feedback situations, test different strategies and receive personalized guidance based on established coaching frameworks.
As a preferred partner to Microsoft, Nadia is native to the desktop environment that many leaders spend most of their working time in. So, participants can continuously reflect, experiment and improve while working on real business challenges, making it easier to transfer new knowledge into everyday leadership practice.
AI Leadership Lab: The Onsite Track
A selected group of participants will be invited to an exclusive two-day AI Leadership Lab in Berlin. The onsite lab provides an opportunity to exchange with thought leaders and peers from across Bertelsmann, work on real world leadership and AI challenges, gain new perspectives and deepen practical application skills.
